It’s a Good Day at TSA: April

April is National Volunteer Month. At The Senior Alliance, we honor the amazing contributions made by our hardworking volunteers.

This week, we’re shining the spotlight on our Medicare Medicaid Assistance Program (MMAP) volunteers who have given hundreds of hours and saved participants thousands of dollars as volunteer counselors.

Read this month’s blog to find out more about MMAP and other volunteer opportunities with The Senior Alliance.

your care, your choice, your life.

The MI Choice Waiver Program provides vulnerable adults with access to home-and-community-based programs and services to allow them to thrive in their own homes. At no cost, the MI Choice Waiver Program gives qualifying adults and adults with disabilities a choice over their care.

Inside The Senior Alliance: Episode 30

In the latest episode of the Inside The Senior Alliance podcast, our host and CEO, Jason Maciejewski, continues his conversation with Amy Gotwals, Chief, Public Policy and External Affairs of USAging.

Jason and Amy discuss the entirety of the Older Americans Act, why the Federal Government decided to create it, and how each section of the Act, or Titles, regulates how the Federal, State, and local governments and agencies operate and get funded.

Congratulations to our Star Performer of the Month, Amber Koski!

Congratulations to our Star Performer of the Month, Amber Koski!

Amber serves as a Support Specialist, and we are incredibly grateful for the support she offers our team each and every day.

Here is what members of her team have to say about her:

“Amber is always willing to go the extra mile to help out her team members and is an extremely valuable member of the Support Specialist Team. Amber has brought so much creativity and innovation to her role. She is always asking to take on additional tasks to lighten the load of others while still being able to thrive within her current job tasks. I have heard so much incredible feedback about Amber from not only the other members of the Support Specialist Team but also from multiple Care Managers. The hard work that Amber puts in does not go unnoticed, and we are all extremely happy to have her! Keep up the great work, Amber!” – Sarah Driscoll

“Amber has been a great asset to the Support Specialist Team. She is a hard worker, dedicated, and kind. We are very lucky to have her!” – Renee Farrugia
