Letters of Intent Notice: FY 2027-2029 Request for Proposals
The Senior Alliance is requesting proposals for FY 2027-2029 (October 1, 2026 through September 30, 2029) to provide services to adults age 60 and older in the 34 communities of southern and western Wayne County, Michigan. Some adult day care and respite funding will include service to individuals who are age 18 and older.

MI Choice Waiver
At no cost, the MI Choice Waiver Program gives qualifying aging adults and adults with disabilities a choice over their care. Services include adult day care, community living support, respite care, home modifications, equipment, meals, transportation, and personal services.

The Senior Alliance now offers MI Options, a free statewide program that helps older adults, people living with disabilities, caregivers, and family members to explore care and coverage choices. Through MI Options, you can connect with local experts for Medicare counseling or long-term services and supports, so you have the support you need to plan with confidence.
