Meals on Wheels Program
The Senior Alliance partners with Wayne County Senior Services to ensure homebound older adults in western Wayne County and Downriver receive nutritious meals delivered to their homes on weekdays. Volunteers are utilized to deliver and/or package the meals.
What Drives You (to volunteer)? Is it purpose, passion, or something else? Help us by delivering meals to older adults and adults with disabilities for the Meals on Wheels program.

Holiday Meals – yearly on Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Easter
The holiday Meals on Wheels program operates each year on Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Easter. The purpose is to ensure homebound older adults who normally receive Meals on Wheels and/or congregate meals have a meal on a day the regular program does not operate.
We utilize volunteers to deliver meals and to assist onsite with sorting, organizing, and distributing the meals.
This opportunity is suitable for families, so children are more than welcome to participate!
