Celebrating Caregiver Appreciation Day: Honoring Those Who Give So Much

March is a time to appreciate those who give of themselves to be caregivers. As we pause to honor the caregivers in our community, we invite you to take a moment this month to express gratitude to the caregivers in your life. A simple thank-you, a heartfelt note, or an offer of assistance can make a significant impact.

In our latest blog post, we share with you a history of caregiving, acknowledge the challenges that come with that role, and provide a list of helpful resources available through The Senior Alliance.

Help Improve Caregiving Haven

The Senior Alliance’s Caregiving Haven was launched in May 2024 as a resource for caregivers and their support networks, offering educational materials, support groups, personalized assistance, and planning tools.

Now, we are seeking feedback to better understand what’s working well, where improvements can be made, and what additional resources caregivers need most.

The survey, which takes just 5-7 minutes to complete, seeks input on:

  • The usefulness of Caregiving Haven’s resources
  • Challenges caregivers face in finding the right support
  • Suggestions for new tools and improvements
  • How to make Caregiving Haven more accessible to those in need

If you haven’t explored Caregiving Haven yet, we invite you to visit caregivinghaven.org before completing this survey. Your insights are invaluable in shaping this resource for the caregiving community in our area.

Please submit your responses by Friday, March 28.

Thank you for your time!
