It’s a Good Day at TSA: March

March is National Social Work Month, giving us the opportunity to recognize the dedication and importance of our social workers.

At The Senior Alliance, we have a deep appreciation for the social workers who help us assist people to thrive as they live their way.

On our blog this month, we track the history of how social work came to be and highlight the barriers the field has helped to break in the U.S. Learn more about this, as well as the open position at The Senior Alliance for a social worker.

Star Performer

Congratulations to March’s Star Performer, Brenda Phelps!

Brenda is an Information & Assistance Specialist, and her co-workers cannot stop singing her praises!

“There is a lot to say about Brenda, but I will keep it brief. Brenda brings strong assets to her role, and our Information & Assistance (I&A) department is incredibly fortunate to have her as one of our I&A specialists. She is dedicated and hardworking. She goes above and beyond for our callers and staff. She brings a positive, high energy and a personal touch. Even with a busy schedule, Brenda also manages to volunteer for Meals On Wheels once a month.

Thank you for all that you do Brenda. I appreciate you!”

–Alicia McDole, Information & Assistance/Transportation Manager

“Throughout the year, I have referred different callers (that I received through the CEO’s office) or referrals from board members to I & A, and Brenda happened to get assigned to those people to do a follow-up. Every caller/referral I have given her, I have received outstanding words of praise on all she has done to assist that person. No matter how frustrating, time consuming, and exhausting something is for Brenda, she never complains. She keeps a smile on her face, is professional, positive, calm, and goes way over and beyond to do what is right for the caller. She is a true super star, the ‘bestest ever,’ and someone I am proud to work with.” –Suzy Radocaj, Executive Administrative Assistant

We’re so proud of our team! Thank you!
