Person-Centered Options Counseling (PCOC) is a free service that connects you with a trained counselor from The Senior Alliance who will walk you through available supports and help you create a plan that fits your goals, values, and lifestyle.

Person-Centered Options Counseling
- Free, no-cost program
- One-on-one unbiased support and guidance from trained counselors
- Clear answers on long-term care and referral to Medicare counseling if applicable
- No age, income, or asset limits to participate
Who Can Use MI Options?
- Adults aged 18 or older
- Adults living with disabilities
- Medicare beneficiaries
- Soon-to-be Medicare beneficiaries
- People who need long-term care supports and services
- Caregivers and family members

Call The Senior Alliance to speak with a trained local Person-Centered Options Counselor from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday–Friday. Options Counselors help empower you and your loved ones to make informed choices about care, ensuring you have the support you need to thrive.
Outside of The Senior Alliance service area of southern and western Wayne County? These residents and all individuals can call 800.803.7174 from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday–Friday to connect with the MI Options statewide hotline for Medicare Counseling services local to you.
