“After approving a participant’s daughter’s request for increased hours for her father’s care, the daughter, Carrie, expressed her sincere gratitude for all The Senior Alliance has done for her parents over the years.
With living out of town and life getting busy, she and her family do everything that they can for her parents, but she says that she would not have been able to do it without the help and support of the Care Management team at The Senior Alliance.
Giving a special shoutout to Information & Assistance Specialist, Brenda Phelps, for all of her kindness, Carrie also wanted to express her gratitude on behalf of her parents for all of the wonderful support that coordinators have given. She feels truly blessed to have found TSA.”

Here is what her manager, Michelle Danou, says about Shree:
“Shree has embraced the ombudsman role. Since she joined the program, her knowledge of long-term care, regulations, and advocacy strategies has been amazing.
Being a new ombudsman can be difficult and challenging – learning to navigate all the moving pieces, CMS QSO changes, regulations, and getting to know numerous buildings, staff, and residents.
Shree is an amazing support and advocate for her residents and always thinks outside of the box to assist in resolving concerns. She is empathetic and uses active listening with her residents. Her support has assisted several residents who were having difficulty with family conflict which resulted in resolving resident concerns.
Her willingness to be a team player speaks volumes. She has joined me on visits when there were building-wide concerns reports. Her response was, ‘Where and when are we going?’
Shree has developed numerous positive relationships with her residents and has become a fierce advocate. We are fortunate to have her on our team!”
Annual enrollment for Medicare Part D is a critical period from October 15 to December 7, 2023, during which aging adults and their caregivers can make changes to their Medicare plans or explore additional assistance programs to better suit their healthcare needs.
