Our MI Choice Medicaid Waiver staff was conducting an in-home assessment for Mr. J. During the assessment, our Supports Coordinator smelled gas in Mr. J’s home. DTE was contacted to investigate the smell and found four gas leaks. Mr. J didn’t notice the smell because of a medical condition that made it difficult to smell. He was thankful that the Supports Coordinator identified the smell and contacted DTE.
