MI Options
The Senior Alliance is proud to have been selected as a participant in the new statewide MI Options Program, where our trained and certified counselors provide expert Medicare Counseling and Person-Centered Options Counseling.
- The Medicare Counseling program, or local State Health Insurance Assistance Program (SHIP), was formerly called Michigan Medicare Assistance Program (MMAP), and moved under the MI Options program umbrella in April 2025
- Our Person-Centered Options Counseling program launched in June 2025

MI Choice Program
With the MI Choice home- and community-based program, older adults and adults living with disabilities have access to in-home services. This long-term support is designed to help individuals stay in a home or residential setting.

Older Americans Act: In-Home Programs
At The Senior Alliance, we provide Care Management and Case Coordination & Support programs for eligible older adults in need through the Older Americans Act. These programs help individuals remain in their own home, a family member’s home, or an assisted living community.

Feeding the Community
We are committed to bridging the gap for food-insecure older adults through a comprehensive network of nutrition services, including home-delivered meals, congregate meals, and holiday meals.
