Mrs. B.’s Story: Mrs. B called us asking for help getting a ramp at her home. Mrs. B uses a wheelchair and has dialysis three times per week. The wheelchair ramp she was using to get in and out of her home was unsafe, but she lacked the funds to purchase one. We installed a ramp for her using fundraising dollars to help her safely get in and out of her home.
Being able to do things ourselves is very important for people in my situation. This ramp has afforded me freedom that I never would have had without it. I now have the chance to go to more places and be out in the yard with my family. It’s a wonderful feeling to have freedom again. The team at The Senior Alliance has been a godsend for me.

This is such a great way to give back as a family and teach our kids about giving back. My family has delivered holiday meals with The Senior Alliance on almost all holidays since 2013.
Delivering meals to seniors on holidays is truly rewarding. I know that I’m the only person some of the people are seeing that day, and I’m glad to know I can brighten their day.
