Our nation’s aging population is growing rapidly, with more and more people living longer lives with less money available to them. And today, with our nation experiencing the highest inflation rate in 40 years, the aging population is especially vulnerable.
Many count on Meals on Wheels to provide for their most basic needs.

Here’s a story from one of our Care Services providers here at The Senior Alliance:
“Three residents have recently received companion pets which brought them all a great deal of joy. One resident in particular doesn’t have any kids, has never been married, and has no family around. When we went to her apartment and gave her the dog, her eyes welled with tears and she was so happy she would not set the dog down. It made us so happy to see the joy that this program brought her.”
