Celebrating Debbie Parker

Debbie Parker with the Senior Alliance at her retirement party.

We celebrated one of our employee’s upcoming retirement at a recent staff meeting.

Debbie Parker has been with us for almost 5 years and will be retiring in February.

This is what Debbie had to say after the celebration:

“Thank you all for the well wishes and the celebration with the cake and card. It was unexpected and very much appreciated. TSA is a great place to work and wish I had found TSA earlier in my career. I will miss all my co-workers because you are a great team and wonderful individuals. Keep up the good work!!” On behalf of everyone at The Senior Alliance, thank you, Debbie, for all of the hard work that you have done.

You will be missed here at TSA.

We love hearing the stories of how The Senior Alliance has made a difference in the lives of our community members. When we get to share them with you, it’s A Good Day at TSA!

Here’s a story from one of our MMAP Counselors here at The Senior Alliance:

“Our team at The Senior Alliance recently assisted a client in making informed choices about their healthcare coverage. We provided the client with the phone number for Michigan ENROLLS and joined them in a call with their representative.

Through collaboration, it was discovered the client was already benefiting from the MI Choice Waiver Program. After careful reevaluation, they opted to keep their current Medicaid Plan and add a Medicare Advantage Plan. Guiding and supporting our client in this decision was truly rewarding.”

Star Performer of the Month, Patty Burns

Patty Burns

Congratulations to our Star Performer of the Month, Patty Burns.🌟

Here is what her manager, Gail Wejrowski, had to say about her:

“Patty is truly an extraordinary member of our team. Her dedication shone brightly during our CQAR audit, where two of her participant records were reviewed, and impressively, the auditors had no criticisms or follow-up requests – a very rare accomplishment.

Patty’s exceptional talent in handling challenging cases with a positive spirit, sharp critical thinking, and deep understanding of the Waiver program is admirable. Beyond her direct work, she’s an inspiring mentor, having guided three new social workers over the last year with great success.

We’re incredibly lucky to have someone as remarkable as Patty in our department. She is truly remarkable!”

Congratulations, Patty.
